From the fields of the Rose Valley, the Damascena Roses are picked up very early in the morning whilst the morning dew is still on the petals. They are placed in plastic bags, and transported to the distillery in the quickest possible way.

An Overview Of The Rose Otto

• Also referred to as Rose Otto or Rose Attar
• Produced from the Damascena Rose
• Highly fragrant essential oil

The Rose Valley

The Damascena Rose was first introduced to Bulgaria by a Turkish entrepreneur who fell in love with the valley and planted the first bushes. The valley provides a mild climate, humid air and the right attitude for rose growing. The region is skirted by two main mountains where roses blossom every year from early May to mid June.
